Kate Spark – Manager/Licensee.I was a volunteer committee member for 6 years from 1999 while my three children attended this pre school. Given the growth of the pre school my part time position was made available to me in 2005.

Karen Manson - Financial Administrator
Prior to marrying and having children my background was in accountancy. My children attended this pre school and I became voluntary treasurer in 1992 and managed it’s relocation. When my children moved on to primary school I was employed part time in 1996 as Financial Administrator.

Helen Smith – Supervisor
Qualifications: Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education), Diploma in Early Intervention,
Background/Special Interests: I have been involved in Early Childhood Education for over 18 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including home-based co-ordination, Head Teacher in a kindergarten and as an Early Intervention Teacher with Special Education.

Adele Sutherland – Head Teacher
Qualifications: Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests: I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 13 years and love every minute of it. I enjoy following the spontaneous play of children and teaching following their lead.

Vicki Venis – Teacher
Qualifications: Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests: I have been involved in ECE for over 30 years including setting up and owning my own preschools.
Background/Special Interests: I enjoy building relationships with families and supporting the younger children.

Lynne McLeod – Teacher
Qualifications: Diploma in Teaching (Primary), Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests: I have worked in a variety of settings including both primary school and ECE for over 20 years. Transitioning children to school, music and building relationships within the community are of great interest to me.

Qualifications: Diploma in Kindergarten Teaching, Bachelor in Teaching and Learning
Background/Special Interests: I have taught for over 20 years in a variety of Early Childhood settings including working with children with special needs. I have been in a Head teacher in a Preschool.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education, Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests: I have been teaching for 9 years. My love of the outdoors, music and art are a strength to my teaching and encouraging spontaneous play.

Vicki Eder – Teacher Part Time
Qualifications: Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests; I have been teaching in since 1991. I have worked with a variety of ages and enjoy all aspects of early childcare especially art and music. I have been involved with Tuahiwi Pre School since 2000 as a parent, a member of the management committee (3.5 Years) and now a part time teacher.

Vivienne Feather – Teacher Aid
Background/Special Interests; I have worked at Tuahiwi Pre School since 2004. I love working with children who require additional support. I like to offer parent support and practical advice.

Laurae Ross-Smith – Teacher
Qualifications: Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
Background/Special Interests: I have worked at Tuahiwi Pre School since 1999. My special interests include; science fun, musical mayhem, fun stories and puppets. I love to garden and enjoy seeing the children take pride in our preschool garden.

Background/Special Interests; I have worked here since the new pre school opened in 2008.l will go the extra mile to help teachers and children have a fun and productive day. I am very patient and love to see children grow and become competent learners.
